Prolapse
NOTE: APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

What is prolapse?
Pelvic organ prolapse is classed as an 'abnormal' descent of one or more of the pelvic organs into or out of the vagina.

This can be seen or felt as a lump or bulge in the vagina and can be associated with other symptoms.

Prolapse occurs when there has been a weakening or damage to the vaginal walls and connective tissue structures that support the organs.
Symptoms
At Dahlia Pelvic Physio we understand that your postpartum phase does not simply end at 6 weeks. The effects of pregnancy and the birth (vaginal or c section) can continue for months and even years. Each mum's body is different along with their birth experience, symptoms and goals which is why we undertake a thorough postpartum assessment to ensure we are addressing your own unique needs. From 3 weeks to years postpartum, Dahlia Pelvic Physio can help.

Mastitis
Therapeutic ultrasound, massage and advice for mastitis is also offered in clinic. Please call or email the clinic to book with the title MASTITIS so we can prioritise your booking.
